Business Icebreaker

The Coalition hosts “Job Not Guns Business Icebreakers” in partnership with the respective Ward Councilmember prior to the upcoming Jobs Not Guns Recruitment Fair.  The Coalition invites local businesses, potential employers, training/apprenticeship programs and support services to attend a business reception to provide the benefits of participation and respond to questions about the upcoming Jobs Not Guns Recruitment Fair. Potential exhibitors are given recommendations for materials to bring to maximize recruiting District residents who will be available for employment or training opportunities or are seeking support services to increase their ability to take advantage of employment. District volunteers assist the Coalition in the design and production of each Icebreaker.
