Data Collection & Evaluation

An intricate part of the Jobs Not Guns Initiative is collecting, maintaining, and reporting the outcomes of the surveys questionnaires and evaluation forms.    The data collection and evaluation provides insight – deciding if the project model has been successful on hiring District residents.

Employer Assessments

To establish the outcome of the employers’ participation in the Jobs Not Guns Initiative that will include an assessment of the success of employers’ hiring of District residents. The survey of employers will include the number of attendees interviewed, result of interviews, number scheduled for follow-up and subsequent hiring.  We will also include the employers’ assessment of attendees’ skills, abilities and job readiness; the implementation, documentation and follow-up to determine the success of the events and recommendations for the future.

Applicant Assessments

Far too many hardships and challenges in the course of the everyday lives of young people are barriers to them reaching and enjoying living out their maximum potential. The Coalition will continue to monitor the status of the support provided to the clients and results of the client reaching their employment and career objectives.  A determination of the type of employment, training and support services provided following the Jobs Not Guns Initiative will serve as a measure of the outcome for participation in the
